bathroom renovation

Another bathroom is done, and what a transformation again. This time it was a renovation, rather than a new build which makes things a lot easier. But we were faced again with the challenge of configuring a small space. Which to be honest, I quite like, as it gets us to think strategically. When we completed our ensuite, it gave us a sense of what worked together and for our main bathroom, we went with a very similar concept and look keeping the palette neutral and clean. We ran the floor tiles right through from the laundry and up into the shower connecting these spaces and giving the illusion of length. I can say from experience now that a terrazzo pattern works so well on floors in a practical sense. Our walls here are white, in two different textures, with the painted wood and vertically laid tiles which keep a small space feel airy and light. I found another cabinet to use again for our vanity from Small Acorns Store, which is where we brought our other bathroom cabinet. It is vintage from India and this one is larger than the other, with mesh panels not only at the front but on the sides as well (which I love) with plenty of storage space for all the bathroom supplies.

We were excited to partner with Plumbline again for this bathroom as they have the most divine bathroom products to choose from. We were so pleased with what we had selected for our ensuite, that we chose almost the same products, with the exception of a different toilet flush plate, this time a matt black one, and a larger sink, also from Concrete Nation again. We have used their in-built toilet, shower, tap, mixers, and the beautiful LED lunar mirror. The LED mirror really became a favourite of mine after using it in the ensuite, and I knew I needed another for this bathroom. It's not only great for applying make up etc, but I also like to leave it on when we have guests over as a soft ambient light in the room. It really makes the room feel special when you walk in.

Let me show you what we created...
